Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between ruled and college-ruled paper?
- It is the gap between the lines. Wide ruled has about 8.7 mm spacing and suits larger handwriting and younger writers. College ruled is tighter at about 7.1 mm, which fits more lines on a page for older students and dense notes. You can set any spacing you like here.
- What is dot grid paper for?
- Dot grid replaces solid lines with a light grid of dots. It guides your writing and drawing without the dots being as visible as full lines, which is why it is popular for bullet journals, sketches and mixing text with diagrams on the same page.
- Can I use A4 and US Letter?
- Yes. A4 is standard in most of the world and US Letter in the United States and Canada. Pick whichever your printer uses before you download, and select the matching size in your print dialog so nothing is cut off or rescaled.
- Does this work offline, and is anything uploaded?
- Everything is built right in your browser, so nothing you type is sent to a server, and once the page has loaded it keeps working with no connection. There is no sign-up and no limit on how many sheets you make.
